Return Policy
Any item may be returned for any reason within seven (7) days of receipt for a full and immediate refund. No questions asked. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, with all original documentation and packaging.
Gary Hendershott stands behind every item sold. If an item is ever found to be other than as described, it may be returned at any time for a complete refund.
Pricing — No Buyer's Premium
All prices are net. There is no buyer's premium, no hidden fees, and no surcharges of any kind. The price listed is the price you pay. This policy reflects Gary's belief that transparent, straightforward dealing builds lasting relationships with collectors and institutions.
Interest-Free Layaway
Interest-free layaway is available for both individual collectors and institutions. The standard arrangement divides payment into three equal installments over three months, always interest-free. Custom payment arrangements can be discussed for significant acquisitions.
Items are reserved upon receipt of the first payment and shipped upon completion of the final payment. All layaway agreements are handled with discretion.
Agent's Commission
All consulting and brokerage services are provided for a 20% agent's fee. This fee covers authentication, provenance research, valuation, inventory organization, buyer and seller communication, and fully insured delivery. There are no additional charges beyond this commission.
Firearms & Federal Requirements
A Curio & Relic (C&R) Federal Firearms License (FFL) is required prior to shipment of any firearms manufactured after 1898, in accordance with federal guidelines. Antique firearms manufactured in or before 1898 are exempt from FFL requirements under federal law.
Our FFL dealer handles all transfers in full compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that any purchase complies with the laws of their jurisdiction.
Shipping & Insurance
All items are shipped fully insured via a reputable carrier. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed. Gary takes extraordinary care in packing and shipping to ensure that every item arrives in the exact condition in which it left.
International shipping is available and is handled in compliance with all applicable export regulations and customs requirements. Additional charges may apply for international destinations.
